JUNE MILLICENT FREETH

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June Freeth on July 1, 2022 at the age of 87. June is survived by her children, Glen (Dawn) and Lori (Darryll), along with Lori’s children, Stephen (Melissa) and Michael (Breanne) and their children, Derek and Dylan; her other 2 grandchildren, Ryan (Emma) and their son, Jack, Karla (Chris), and their children, Nathan, Thomas and Charlotte. June was incredibly blessed and thankful for becoming a great grandmother in her lifetime.

June was a proud part of the parish at St. Mary Magdalene church for many years, and with the Vital Seniors group, acting as treasurer for over a decade. She loved the community, relationships and great times had through the church and her home at Rotunda Towers.

To anyone who was lucky enough to know June, they can speak on how genuine and selfless she was; giving the shirt off her back if someone needed it, no questions asked. She connected with people in a way that made them feel safe, loved, and calm. She was never judgmental and deeply believed in treating others how she wanted to be treated.

June will be laid to rest with her parents at St. John’s Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
