Bev and family, just heard the news, please accept our condolences. We’ve known Karl for a long time. First, as a chipper competitive hockey player for the Beausejour Blades in the 1970s in their epic battles against the Pinawa Panthers and the other teams in that league. We remember the excellent service provided when he had the Pinawa service station/garage, and in later years we knew him as a co-worker at AECL. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dear Bev and Mrs. (Mary) Sobetski I am so sorry to hear of Karl's passing. I have many fond memories of Karl as we grew up and went to school in the same neighbourood. The one special memory that will remain with me was his sincere and friendly smile. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time.

Bev and Derek. I have known Karl forever. He was a wonderful man. He loved his family and honored them always. He was a good friend and a wonderful neighbor. Would be there in an instant if he knew he was needed. The stars will shine a bit brighter cause a special man has joined them.
