KENNETH DANIEL CYR
On Saturday, March 5, 2016, Ken passed peacefully in his sleep at his residence, at the age of 80 years. Left to mourn Ken’s passing are his wife of 32 years, Anna; his children, Mark, Daria (Lawrence), Traci (Rick), and Dallas (Kari); grandchildren, Keaton (Jilian), Kolran (Jennifer), Danika (Jen), Jordan, and Keanan. He loved them all deeply. Also left to mourn are his siblings; Helen (Jim), Charles (Beryl), Keith (Eileen) and Nina (Ron); fraternal aunt, Geraldine; and many nephews; nieces; cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents. Born Kenneth Daniel to Charles and Mae Cyr on July 13, 1935, together with his fraternal twin brother in Selkirk, Manitoba. Ken started working at the Manitoba Rolling Mills at the age of 16, until his early retirement at age 50 due to health reasons. He enjoyed fishing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
