KENNETH HARRISON
It is with shock and disbelief the family of Kenneth Harrison announce his passing.
Kenn was a remarkable person, one who never complained and always saw the best in people. He was a someone to look up to, his perseverance and ambition. Kenn was a self-made success; he worked hard to self educate as well academically. He was also a member of the armed forces for a short time.
Suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis, a painful and debilitating disease from a young age. Kenn endured several surgeries to replace his joints with patience and humor. Jokes about being the bionic man, Iron Man and not being able to walk though metal detectors were common during his recovery.
Kenn took his knowledge and created a web development and maintenance company where he did contract work for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Kenn also worked at Society for Manitobans with Disabilities (SMD) as the computer instructor. Helping others with disabilities learn computer skills to enter the job market. He loved his job and the ability to help people. He even won an award for Employee Excellence.
We are all going to miss our humble tech guy, with the biggest heart and the kindest demeaner. We all were so proud of him and loved him deeply.
Kenn was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Florence.
Left to morn him are his siblings Shane, Stuart and Tiffani; nieces and nephew Charlotte (Rob), Karel (Jessica), Robynn (Scott); Great nephew Nathon (Randean); Great niece Kendra and amazing friend who we can never thank enough Zenna.
Rest pain free in peace Kenn.
If so inclined, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
