A chance search, turned up Laura's obituary, stunning me into a deep sadness. I offer condolences to her parents. After 33 years since high school - I have lost contact with most everyone! and have regrets, and tears. I am so sorry.

To all who loved and cared for Laura, my sympathies. I remember Laura as being so smart and so nice in our classes going all the way back to Arthur Oliver. She had an artistic mind and absolutely loved the logo for the Winnipeg Centennial, being so proud of it. I remember riding my bike down the catwalk from School Road to Wharton hoping to see her out playing. Funny how the memories come back so clearly - her curled hair, flared jeans, and orange 70's top jumping to mind. Life is too short. I'm crying as I write this and I haven't seen Laura in over three decades - I can only imagine the loss felt by those close to her. Be well.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Coward,I am shocked to hear of the loss of your beautiful daughter. Laura and I spoke often and shared many private and beautiful conversations, what a gentle soul. I think of her often. I moved to Kelowna almost (4) years ago, I had a very nice visit with her the last time I came in. She was always so friendly and kind.My heart goes out to you both. I also lost a brother not so longer ago. Remember the good times, there are many.

Mr. and Mrs. Coward, my sincere condolences on Laura's passing. I worked with Laura for several years and knew her to be a kind-hearted, sensitive, and caring person who would light up the room when she walked in. Laura had the ability to make people smile and she leaves many fond memories.

we understand the loss you are going through as we have and still are mourning the loss of our daughter, which like yours fell at home and passed away at he ICU in health sciences on Dec-21-2012 both your daughter and ours have similar names hers is Laurie, we as parents understand what you are going through, but just think Laura with our Laurie are probably good friends chatting about their life experiences and laughing, we just thought that we should say hello and offer our deepest support to you for we know how hard it is, stay strong, and just think she is in a better place

I was deeply saddened & shocked to read of Laura's passing so young. I knew of Laura when she way back when dated & was engaged to my brother Ron. When things did not work out we went our separate ways, but often thought about her impeccable dress, & love of tanning. She never wanted her hair out of place. I did not realize she was sick. I too have an illness & feel happiness has eluded me all my life also. I wish now I would have stayed in touch as she was a beautiful soul. My thoughts & prayers go out to the Coward Family at this most difficult time of sorrow. Life truly is short.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter. I am so sad to hear the news. Laura and I were friends for years. We had many laughs together. We lost touch in the past year because I had some health issues. I remember when she first got her red sports car, she was smiling from ear to ear. We went to get insurance for it and she was so proud that she saved her money to buy this car. I was happy for her too. I will remember her with fond memories. I know you will too. Love Fran

To Mr. and Mrs. Coward; My sincere heartfelt condolences for the loss of your daughter Laura. I was first acquainted with your daughter back in 1999 when I started dealing with the City of Wpg. PP&D and was always met with Laura's pleasant and professional manner. She was always willing to accommodate above and beyond her position as Permit Tech. I'm sure her personality will be missed at the city. Very saddened to hear of her passing.
