LAURA DESROSIERS

(nee KIHN)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Laura Desrosiers on February 14 2024 at the age of 94. Laura was  born in Hanover, Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. Laura spent the last 4 years of her life at Tuxedo Villa Extendicare.

Laura will be sadly missed by her surviving family Walter (Susan) Poersch, Shirley (Don) Ducharme, Mary (Joe) Falvo, and Jennifer, Emily and Lily Poersch , along with many Grandkids, Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice; daughter Marilyn Glendining and son Larry Poersch along with her parents and many brother and sisters.

She loved knitting and crocheting and won many awards for it at craft sales and country fairs in manitoba, she enjoyed camping in her younger years, she was also known for her passion for yard sales during the summer weekends.

Special thanks to all the nurses and health care aides on Station 2 and all the staff at Tuxedo Villa Extendicare for your dedication and support during the last 4 years of her life. Laura had the best team taking care of her.
