LAURELLE MURDOCH

After a lengthy illness, Laurelle died in her home on December 31, 2022.

Laurelle’s three children, Lance Murdoch (Barb), Laurene Murdoch (Wayne) and Lorna Murdoch (Steven) will miss her dearly, as will her grandsons Luke and William. Laurelle was predeceased by her husband Alan Murdoch, her parents, Frank and Doris, sister’s Eleanor (Maurice) & Doreen (Albert) and brother Ken (Nancy).

Laurelle worked for years in the banking and insurance fields. She retired from Great West Life in 2016. Laurelle loved dogs and always had at least one running around the house. She enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed collecting a variety of antiques and postage stamps.

Laurelle would do anything for family. In 1974 she gave her brother Ken a kidney and saved his life.

A service will be held on Sunday January 15, 2023, 2pm, Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Ave.

In lieu of flowers, Laurelle would have wanted donations to go to the Humane Society.
