Larry was and will always be remembaered as mine and my brothers uncle. As a young man growing up around Larry his brother Ron, Bob Downey and my father Ron Aird, Larry was a larger than life figure in our young lives. Funny, serious, and always full of advice about our young lives I will always cherish the memories of going to visit him and Gerry, watching the Bombers, and the Grey Cup. When they had season tickets we would park at their house on Strathcona, walk to the game, and return in time to hear the happy honker award on the radio in his kitchen. On behalf of my family, Iwould like to pass on my condolences to the Stokes family. God bless you Larry and Gerry. Thank-You for the wonderful memories.
