LELAH MAUDE TOCHER On Friday, March 14, 2014, Lelah’s Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. Left to cherish Lelah are her husband Leonard of 55 years of marriage; two sons; a daughter; and six grandchildren. Born in Edmonton, as the fifth of seven children, Lelah graduated from high school in Salmon Arm, BC and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where she met her husband. A long-time member and strong advocate for the Canadian Volkssport Federation, she completed walks in every province and territory of Canada and many US states. Lelah enjoyed bowling and crafts. For many years, she volunteered in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Manitoba Theatre Company. On Friday, March 14, 2014, Lelah’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. The family would like to thank the staff of the Central Dialysis Unit and the doctors, nurses and UAs of GD4 for their professional and exceptional care during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
