LESTER BRISTO
Peacefully, after a somewhat lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Lester Bristo, on September 17, 2022, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg.
Lester was 81, and resided in Winnipeg, and for a time in Brandon. He leaves behind daughter Nicole Burke-Compton and her family, and other close relatives and many friends. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad (and Tobago),
Lester enjoyed life in his very unique way. He wrote and sang calypsos whenever he competed in the local calypso competition and had worked in the manufacturing industry for many years. Lester loved to tell funny stories from his past, and enjoyed jokes and laughter, and had a ‘kind heart’. May he rest in peace.
