LOIS ANNE STRONG
February 2, 1952 – November 25, 2024

After a lengthy illness, Lois passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024 with family by her side at Riverview Health Centre.

Predeceased by her parents, Verla and James (Jimmy) Strong of Treherne, MB. She is survived by her son Chris, cousin Wayne (Kathy) and extended family members and friends.

Lois had a successful career as a R.N. until her Muscular Dystrophy forced her to retire. She was a strong advocate for others with disabilities and tried to live her life as independently as possible. Lois enjoyed many outings and activities provided by Manitoba Possible. Her home wasn’t complete without a cat for her to spoil.

The family would like to thank the many Doctors, Nurses and Home Care Staff for their great care and compassion for Lois over the years, especially the 2E Riverview Team.

Cremation has taken place. As per Lois’s wishes, there will be no service.
