Just want to pass my deep condolences to the Catellier family. I first met Luc when he drove for Safeway and dropped off at the Dauphin Safeway location, in many conversations he was most definitely proud of his family! Later on, I moved to Winnipeg, and behold we would again meet up and stand against the glass and watch his granddaughter and my daughter play hockey. We never seemed to have enough time to catch up and talk about life/families and lots of laughs. Keep the memories close, RIP my friend.

I had known Luc for 35 years, back to when I worked at Safeway in Dauphin and, later working alongside his youngest boy, Clayton, in the RCMP. It was such a small world. He had a wonderful sense of humour (that he definitely passed along to his boys) and Luc was full of life. He had so many things he enjoyed (I’m thinking about his banzai tree in his backyard) but anyone who met him knew right away how proud of his family and that meant everything to him. Marlene, Chris, and Clayton I am so sorry about Luc’s passing and he will be very much missed.

Marlene, Chris, Clayton and Family It was with sadness that we read of Luc’s passing. Barry’s memories of Luc go back to Cunnington Avenue where they were next door neighbours. There was no shortage of shenanigans between the Catellier and Verplaetse households! We kept in touch over the years and the love and pride Luc had for Marlene and his sons was always evident. That love and pride grew with the addition of the grandchildren. We will always remember Luc’s great sense of humour, his impish chuckle and the twinkle in his eye when he was talking about his family or telling a story. Our lives are richer having known Luc and we wish you strength, courage and peace as you grieve the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother.

My deepest condolences to Marlene and family. I extend sympathies to Luc's family, my cousins...Jeanette, Denise, Marcel . I did know his older siblings and though we never kept touch he is still part of our very large Catellier family. I hope your remembrances fill your hearts with peace and joy as his life was. I was deeply moved and saddened to hear of Luc’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Luc in 1982 at Dauphin Safeway while working nights. Once a week for 17 years we would spend 1 hour together unloading the truck and talking about our life’s events. I have never met Marlene or his boys, however through our conversations I felt that I have known them personally through Luc’s stories. There was never a doubt, Luc was a proud husband and father. My sincere condolences to Marlene and the Catellier family. Rest peacefully old friend.
