My condolences Mark ,Trevor and families. I wanted to see and speak to you personally, but the times being what they are, that's almost impossible. It's difficult for me to express the loss I feel....Our families where so close back in the day ...we spent many a weekend together...all those special memories...It's hard to explain why things happen the way they do...all we can do is pray that your Mom and Dad are in their special place smiling down on us...Sandy and Uncle Brian.

Dearest Mark and Trevor, We are so very sorry for the loss of your dad. We wish we could have seen both Uncle Lyle and Auntie Ellen one more time before they passed – they left us too soon. We will instead remember all of the fun times that we used to have over at your place, Sunday dinners, parties, ice skating, card games and so many more great times. Please know that although we are far apart – you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Love Terri, Adam & Oscar

We wanted to express our condolences to Mark, Trevor & their families on the loss of their father. Lyle & Ellen were both such wonderful people. Lyle was such a quiet & gentle soul who was always their to help out . Ellen was always seen with a smile on her face, through good or bad & her laugh was so very infectious! We were honored to have known them both & will cherish all the memories we shared. Sending our thoughts & prayers during this time. Alamo Rose friends, Lonna & Robert Bernier

Dear Mark and Trevor and your families. Alex and I, Marlo and Curtis and their families just wanted to say how sorry we were to hear of your Dad's sudden passing. We hadn't known your Mom was gone as well. It's never easy to loose someone but this is a particularly tough time. We hope you were able to see your Dad. We remembered many fun times over the years in Charliewood, and Varsity View. Your Mom and Dad were great people. They came to visit us when we first moved to Morden, twenty years ago, of course though life goes on and we loose touch. Mark do you remember that one in a million chance meeting that we had with you and your Mom and Dad in New York? You had moved there and they were visiting. You had come to a Broadway show and so had we. I heard your Mom's infectious laugh behind us and I said to Alex , that sounds like Ellen Poole, we turned around and sure enough it was . Your folks had to head back to New Jersey, so we had a quick visit. Curtis lives in Georgia and Marlo in Brandon. We are doing lots of Face time. If you are ever take a drive out to Morden you are welcome to our home. Alex usually invites everyone to Corn and Apple , unfortunately not this year. However we are looking forward to things opening up this week. Love and Hugs to you and your loved ones.

We were very shocked at the passing of (uncle) Lyle. We have very fond memories growing up with him. He even came and worked for Dad on the farm. He brought lots of laughter and also a sense of being a man of great intelligence in which he never showed to the public. We will miss you but now you can be peaceful with Ellen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. His quiet calming presence and sense of humour are such great ways to describe him. When Emily was about two he had a cold and your mom and dad were playing cards with my mom and dad. He stuffed Kleenex in his nose so it wouldn’t slow down the game I guess. The look on Emily’s face was priceless she thought he was nuts. So so many great memories. We will miss him greatly. Love to you all. Echo and Steve
