In Loving Memory of Lynn Williams
(née Liebrecht)
April 30, 1956 – April 16, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Williams, a beloved wife, mother, Nanny, and friend, on April 16, 2025.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Margaret Liebrecht, and her brother, Bob Liebrecht. She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Dave Castle; her daughter, Kyla (Bruno) Sanderson; and her cherished grandsons, Landon and Gage, who lovingly knew her as “Nanny.”

She will also be deeply missed by Dave’s children, Chris and Melanie, and his grandchildren, Shaylene, Cody, Larissa, and Lucas.

Lynn worked for the provincial government, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. Over the years, she was fortunate to be surrounded by caring friends and neighbours, including Debbie and Dave, whose support meant so much to her and the family.

She was a talented artist and avid crafter, always creating thoughtful and beautiful pieces for the people she loved. She especially enjoyed her trips to Puerto Vallarta, where she stayed at the Friendly Vallarta and built many treasured friendships. Closer to home, she found joy and peace at the cottage she shared with Dave — a place filled with laughter and special memories.

Lynn will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
