Madeline had a love for BC flowers. In our conversations she would always talk fondly about our early spring and ask about which flowers were blooming. The memory of my laughter loving cousin will bloom forever. Miss you Madge.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Madeline (again) since reconnecting with her son Dan 2 years ago. I instantly felt welcomed into their family. I found her to be a witty, engaging, intelligent woman. Madeline had such love and pride of her family, it warmed your heart. They were her greatest joy.

My condolences Don on your loss. I met Madge last summer when I was crossing the country with her cousin Linda. Madge and Don made room for us and made me feel welcome and like an old friend. Always had a smile and a funny story. Thanks Madge for an enjoyable nite. RIP

I am saddened by Madeline's passing. My sympathies are with those she left behind. She had such a great way about her and I enjoyed our brief conversations very much. I met her only once but was struck by her loving nature and jovial personality. My grandmother always had a funny story to tell me about her latest conversation with Madge. I will miss those. Healing thoughts for you all at this sad time.

Madeline and I have been enjoying a game of 'What Is It' for years, a game where she would send me something strange in the mail and I would have to guess what it was, and I would do the same to her. I received one only days before she passed away and will probably never know what it is...she got the last laugh and you have to know she is enjoying that one. Thank you for all the laughter, I will miss you very much. I also send my deepest sympathy to Don, Dan and Cindy.

Please accept our most sencere sympathies on your loss of such a wonderful person. Madeline was such a kind and loving person who always saw the good in people. Don would bring 'A great big pot of soup!' for us guys in the powerhouse at HCC, which Madeline had made. There was nothing else like it. Later on, she would make pastries so delicious and yet, they were made from the most simple of ingredients, how she did it, we'll never know.Rest well Madeline.Duane, Joanne, Rebecca
