I'm very sorry to hear of Marcel's passing. He was the Ft. Garry Police 'French Connection.' A quiet, thoughtful regular guy whose priority was his wife and family. I know he was amused with his 'colleagues' on the Ft. Garry Police Dept. and sometimes must have wondered how he ever got mixed up with us all. He was quick to smile and I remember his hearty laugh. Marcel will be remembered as truly one of the 'good guys' by his comrades.

Marcel and I both retired in 1994 and although we were not that close during the last twenty years we did see each other occasionally and had a couple of breakfasts together. I have fond memories of working with Marcel and the many talks we had at the front desk in District 6 after I had finished evening shift and he was on midnights. I have thought of you often my friend and I shall miss you. Until we meet again Marcel and thanks for the chuckles and the everlasting memories.

I worked in D5 after amalgamation with Marcel. He was always the perfect gentleman and a great worker. I have always missed the coffee breaks with Marcel and his great sense of humor. RIP you were one of the good ones.
