MARGARET MAY LANE (nee WHEATCROFT) May 8, 1931- January 3, 2013 With her family by her side Mom passed away at Riverview Health Centre on January 3, 2013. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Gerald Robert Orchard Lane, her parents Arthur Wheatcroft and Ernestine Guilbault, her siblings Leslie (Babe), Gordon and Reg Wheatcroft, Bennett (Bunny) Peters, son-in-law David Bray, son-in-law Robert Harrison, and grandson John Lane. Mom leaves to mourn her children Frances, Eileen, Gerald, Janet, Judith, Theresa and their spouses, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her siblings Albert Wheatcroft and John (Sandy) Wheatcroft and many family members and friends, too many to mention individually. Thank you to the staff of 3 East at Riverview Health Centre for their care and kindness to Mom. According to Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering was held. Mom lived her entire life devoted to her children and for that we are eternally grateful. So kiss her old brow, whisper softly and true. Mother you’re just an angel and I love you.
