It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Wang (nee Murphy) announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy; sisters Carol, Dorothy and Terri (Gordon); brothers Bill, Cliff (Brenda) and Patrick (Jennifer) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Murphy. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg, with Rev. Fr. Peter Nemcek, presiding. Interment will follow in St. Charles Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone involved with Marie’s care over the last two years.
