I will miss Marilyn. As kids growing up together I learned that Marilyn was one determined gal. She always knew what she wanted and didn't let anyone pull the wool over her eyes. She had little time for things in life that could steal from who or what a person could become. Little wonder then that she accomplished so much. She was more than a cousin, she was my friend. The family in Victoria extends deepest sympathies to her family.

Marilyn and I shared a very special bond...she was an inspiration and a role model for me as well as many other women in the military. I will miss her dearly and never forget my 'work Mom'.
