Obituaries

We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother and nana Gail Robertson at the Grace Hospital on August 25^th, 2022 at the age of 74.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons Kristen (Megan) and Ian (Sabrina) Wegert, grandchildren Felix, Erik, Ethan and Kalissa, her mother Dorothy, her sisters Barb (Frank) and Joanne, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.  Gail was predeceased by her father William “Bill” Robertson.

Gail worked for many years in the health care field as a nurse and nurse manager. Primarily working in the geriatric field, she took pride in being compassionate to those in her care and their families. Gail cared greatly for animals and loved her pets throughout the years dearly. She was passionate about the environment and nature. She particularly cherished her time near the ocean while living in Sydney BC.

A family gathering of remembrance and celebration will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers or cards please donate to a no-kill pet rescue.
