Marilyn Storimans passed away peacefully on the evening of August 29th at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Marilyn remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life. Alongside her husband Roland, she co-owned and operated the beloved Belgium Bakery on Corydon Avenue, a cherished neighborhood staple known for its warmth and tradition. After selling the bakery in 2005, Marilyn and Roland devoted their time to what mattered most — family.

Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roland, her son Kevin, his wife Laura, and their children Trevor, Brett, and Avery and her cat Jasmine who Marilyn absolutely adored all of them. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mary Strack.

Known for her deep appreciation of movies and music, Marilyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life and in the company of those she held dear. Her quiet strength, generous heart, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
