MARJORIE ELIZABETH ROCK

Peacefully on November 23, 2022, Marjorie Elizabeth Rock passed away at Oakview place at 96 years of age surrounded by the love of her family.

Marjie was born in Hamilton, Ontario on February 13, 1926 to Joseph and Hilda Masters and moving to Winnipeg as a young girl.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, David; her sisters and best friends, Eileen Little and Eleanor Elmer and her brother Gordon Masters. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews as well as extended family and special friends, all of whom she adored. Marjie loved children and was everyone’s Auntie Marjie.

Marjie led a very active life golfing, curling, bowling, and skating. She and David loved to travel as well as enjoying many weekends away in Grand Forks, Victoria Beach, Grand Beach, Falcon Lake, and Sandy Hook.

She loved to entertain and was a great cook. Marjie never had a dessert she didn’t like.

So many of our lives’ fondest memories included Auntie Marjie. She was such a special lady and was loved by all who ever had the pleasure to meet her.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at Oakview for their loving care. A private celebration will be held.
