Mark Anthony Evans

After a courageous battle against lung cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mark Evans. Mark passed away on October 23rd, 2022, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at 61 years of age. Mark is survived by his children Andrea (Shane) and Troy (Destiny); his grandsons Glen and Dean; his siblings Ron (Diane), Gary (Viviane), Donna (Gaston), Bruce (Linda), and Laura (George); and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mark is predeceased by his parents Doreen Deleu and Lloyd Evans and his sister Janet.

Mark was born in Swan Lake, Manitoba, in 1961. He had a passion for creating in his workshop, loving to spend time fabricating with metal and working on engines to help and delight those around him. He cherished his family and his pets, and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like enjoying a good, home-cooked meal.

Mark’s family would like to extend their special thanks to the many health care professionals that supported Mark during his fight with cancer, including those at CancerCare Manitoba, the Victoria General Hospital, the St. Boniface Hospital, and finally at the Deer Lodge Centre personal care home.
