Obituaries

Here are a few of my standout memories with my brother Mark. Christmas 1993.  My brother Mark, his wife Sandra, kids Andrea and Troy came to celebrate Christmas Eve by attending church and having supper with mom, myself and my new boyfriend George.  Mark eyed up George.  It was funny on the cute protective big brother side of things. At supper, Mark complimented George on giving a scripture reading that I surprise- volunteered George to make.  It was a fun moment because as Mark pointed out I was already volunteering him to do stuff! February 2, 2002 At my wedding to George, just before the ceremony, Mark found me to encourage me and tell me he loved me.  It was a beautiful memory I have always cherished. Aug. 27, 2021 George, Jackson and I surprise Mark with a visit at his home.  He was happy to show us his workshop.  He was sick then, but so brave.  In the August sunshine, we took some pictures of Mark with Jackson and I.   More importantly, after this Mark gave his testimony of believing in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  He was such a role model to his nephew Jackson at that moment.  It was his way of reassuring us he'd be all right.  Mark, I love you!  Rest in peace brother. 🙏✝️
