To Karen and family, So shocked and very saddened to hear about Dr. Bernier's passing. He was such a soft spoken gentleman who dedicated his working life to women's health and wellness. I have had the privilege of being his patient over the years. He was such a fantastic doctor and will be greatly missed. I am so very sad to hear of this news. I was referred to him by my family doctor as well. He was such a kind, gentle and reassuring professional. The world has lost a good man. My deepest condolences to his friends and especially his family. You are missed by so many.

I was referred to Dr. Bernier by my family doctor and I found him to be caring, compassionate and really listened to me during my health crisis. Dr Bernier was one of the kindest and caring man that I had a pleasure of knowing. Dr. Bernier was my obstetrician when I was pregnant with my daughter. I asked for him personally as we had met several years earlier when I needed a procedure done and he left such an impression. Nobody can deny that he was an incredible doctor but it's his humor that I will remember. Every visit we would laugh and laugh, even in the most uncomfortable of situations. I would wait 2 hours every visit just to see him. That's how behind he always was but I never once complained because he was worth the wait. When you find a doctor that you trust completely, you wait. My condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I was so sad to read about Dr. Bernier’s passing. I was referred to him by my doctor and he subsequently saved my life by his expert diagnosis and surgery. Dr. Bernier has been not only a doctor for my daughter Naomi and me-he has been a true friend. Winnipeg has lost a wonderful, caring doctor. He was our doctor for both of our babies during our high risk pregnancies. Heaven has gained a man who has passed away too soon. Rest in Peace Mark-til we meet again.
