With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Marlene on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Middlechurch Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side, at the age of 78 years. Marlene leaves to mourn, her loving husband Barrie; her daughter Laurie (Darrell) Bauschke and their children Brittany, Kaitlyn and Kristi-Lee; son Douglas (Evelyn) Kirkhope of Calgary, Alberta and their children Bradley (Vancouver) and Jenna (Calgary); brother Glenn (Jo-Al) Wilde; sister Wendy (John) Barnes; brother-in-law Donald (Molly) Kirkhope of Toronto, Ontario; as well as nephew Kennedy (Heather) Kirkhope of Edmonton, Alberta. On Friday, July 8, 2016, Marlene’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue. All friends and family are welcome. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of N2 ward at Middlechurch Nursing Home for their endless love and caring provided to Marlene.
