Left to greatly miss Martha is her devoted husband of 62 years, Earl Atkinson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Tom, John, Lori and Janice (Kip); son-in-law Brian Kipling; grandchildren Jacqueline, Katie, Christine, Dale, Curtis, Chad, Jessica and Jenna; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and long term friends. She was predeceased by her mother Celestine; father Peder; stepfather Theodor; sister Margret; brother George; loving daughter Theresa, and cherished son Anthony. Martha worked many years at Sears and made many friends along the way. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the #4 Legion. Her happiest times were spent in St. Rita or camping with her family where memories were made that can never be forgotten or replaced. Martha’s journey here with us is over, but won’t ever be forgotten by those she left behind. She is now with the others that went before her to become an angel, and watch over us as she always did when she was here with us. On Friday, December 6, 2013 Martha’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Palliative Care and Seven Oaks Hospital for their loving and kind care along the way.
