I remember Martha's smiling face. I would pass by her and Barney on the front lawn of Lisa's house. She was always out there dedicated to winning the battle of the weed war.

I will always remember Martha because of the first day I met her... I was getting a tour of the unit I was going to be working on when she came over, carefully removed the bangs from my eyes, put them behind my ears, said 'hello lovely girl' and smiled. Every day she saw I was there she would do the same thing with my bangs and I felt she nicknamed me 'lovely girl' as from my knowledge she did this only to me. A while later I got transferred to a new unit as did she and every time she saw me even when she was feeling upset about something she would smile her WONDERFUL smile, say 'hi lovely girl' and proceed to tuck my bangs behind my ears. On the 17th I had the urge to visit her on her unit, I went up to her room and sat with her to do a little visit. When she saw me sit beside her she looked at me, smiled brushed my bangs back behind my ears and said 'lovely girl'. She was a wonderful person with an amazing heart and a smile that could melt anyone's bad mood. God bless <3 and peace to her and her family and friends
