It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Adele Murphy (nee Kulbisky) at the age of 78 years, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
Left to cherish Adele’s memory are her two children, Shannon Gavin (Jason) and Karen Ito (Todd); siblings Dorothy and Elge Kulbisky; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Mary Kulbisky of Canora, SK and siblings, Bill and Jimmy.
On March 22, 1940 Adele was born in Swan Plain, SK. She moved to Saskatoon in 1958 where she attended school, lived and worked before moving to Calgary in 1961. She later moved to Ottawa and finally to Winnipeg in 1974. Adele was married to Bob Murphy from 1967- 1979. She worked at Canada Post in Winnipeg for 23 years, before retiring. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and appreciated an eclectic range of music.
Adele wanted to thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their kindness and consideration.
At Adele’s request, no service will be held.
