So sorry to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. As a distant cousin, she was always fun at family gatherings, especially the family picnics held at uncle Bo and Auntie Anne’s place at Victoria Beach. Alas, many years ago. Condolences to the family, from the Luckhurst branch.

To Mary Lou's family - As a member of the Winnipeg Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, I want to express my deepest condolences to you on the passing of a wonderful woman who truly embodied the attributes of the Creed of Zeta Tau Alpha; the words that come to mind about Mary Lou are "to prepare for service and learn the nobility of serving , thereby earning the right to be served". She volunteered so many hours to our group throughout the years and enjoyed many friendships with her sisters. I always enjoyed sitting next to her at a function and sharing in a lively and engaging conversation. She loved to talk about her figure skating days and what her family was doing and her love of steel drums. I recall we had some members of her band come to an event and we could hear her play!
