It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather Max Melnyk on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Heritage Lodge, at the age of 81 years.
Remaining to cherish Max are his wife of 54 years, Roxy; daughter Sandra (Ben); grandson Sacha of Campbell River, British Columbia; son Donald of Winnipeg; brother ? in ? law Walter Yarish; sisters ? in ? law, Sylvia Yarish, Joan Yarish, Phyllis Horbal, Elsie Yarish and Diane Yarish; as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by parents, Mary and Abraham and two infant siblings.
Max was employed by Manitoba Public Insurance for many years and enjoyed his time at work. He also enjoyed sports and was involved in coaching baseball, hockey and Pop Warner Football.
Divine Liturgy will be Celebrated on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Basil?s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt Street with Rev. Fr. Walter Klimchuk, presiding.
