Tim and I were very saddened to hear of May's passing. We both worked with her at Sears Fashion Distribution Centre years ago, May and I became very good friends and had lots of fun together, There were 4 of us girls ( May, Nancy, Vera and Myself) who used to celebrate our Birthdays together by going to The Ole Spaghetti Factory with Birthday Cake in tow, and had the staff come sing Happy Birthday to the one we were celebrating their Birthday. May and I used to go to the movies and out for supper, and we also were on a Bowling Team from Sears. (That was lots of fun.) Tim and I went to a Cribbage Tournament with May , we had lots of fun. We had lost touch with each other when Sears closed down, and one day Tim bumped into May and we started phoning each other again and met for coffee a couple of times. May was such a bubbly person, always a smile on her face. We will miss her very much. We send our condolences to the Family.

My condolences to you Cheryl and to your family. I appreciated the eulogy and tribute to your Mom at the fuenral services. She certainly was a resilient woman in raising you and your brother and her work ethic was incredible. One of my favourite memories of your Mom was when we drove out to Gimli as a group of 4 friends and did all-things Norwegian for the day with lots of laughter including pics by the statue of the Viking. She will be fondly remembered. Prayers for you as you and her adjust to her new chapter of life in that special place. Love Karin

Our deepest sympathy, we have lost an exceptional woman, and a worthy angel. I met May in the early 70’s. We both worked at the Sears buying office in Inkster Park and what fun we had! May was so kind to everyone and she took me under her wing. My being very young, it was like having another teenager for her to handle, but I matured and we became such very good friends. She was patient and thoughtful and her humour was contagious... her Swedish heritage made for many a good story, mimicking the accent to a tee! We shared many good meals and times throughout the years , with her and also with Dave. We remember the good times. the tough times, the heartfelt conversations about her life and her much loved children. She always worked hard and did the best she could to make a better life for her and her kids.. family was very important for her. My husband Al and I have many good memories of May, and her memory will never be forgotten. Love, Millie
