Mike and Pat were such good neighbours and friends - truly a wonderful example of the importance of FAMILY !! Life as we know it is just not long enough - Remembering the good times with Floyd and myself - and keeping in touch with loving thoughts.

I met Mike and Pat shortly after moving to Winnipeg. They were at a pro-life event and even though I was a stranger to them, they took it upon themselves to drive me home. I was embarassed about inconveniencing them and tried to insist that I could get home of my own accord, but the more I insisted, the more they gently persisted and drove a considerable distance out of their way to take me to my apartment on Furby St.It was pretty obvious that they were very special people, and my heart goes out to the family in this time of loss. My prayers are with you.sherry

Thank you so much for the mention of the Home Care Program in your father's obituary. On behalf of our office I thank you for the opportunity of working with you and your family members. It is nice to know that he received excellent care in his last years and got to reside close to family members.

I have many clear recollections of Mike from my eight years with Winnipeg's Golden Chordsmen during the 1980's. I can yet visualize his ready smile, keen sense of humour and warmth of personality. He was a very dedicated Barbershopper who loved quartet singing. I am saddened to learn of his passing and express my sympathy with his wife and family. Our world would benefit from many more who are as he was.

Mike was a long time friend who I met in the late 70's through our association with the Winnipeg Barbershop singers. He was the lead singer for our Quartet, Suburban Knights for many years. I looked up to him because he was much taller and also he was able to keep our songs in key. He had that Irish sense of humour and over the years contributed much to the many sings and shows with our Quartet and the Golden Chordsmen Chorus. Our condolences go out to Pat and the family.
