During my chemo treatment I liked to chat.Michele and I were in the same room and loved to talk to each other. I saw some of her sketches. We enjoyed each other's company and I always looked for her during my Friday chemo treatments. We also sent e-mails to each other. When I didn't get any more I tried to phone her but there was so answer. I am sadden to hear of her death. From my short time with her I knew she will be dearly missed by everyone who got to know her.

I lost a friend and former colleague from SAAN stores head office. She was close to retirement when SAAN failed, and managed to make it work out for her. I had kept in regular contact as she occasionally needed help with her computer, and we both enjoyed coin collecting. She had recently rediscovered a sketching talent and was a promising portrait artist. I hadn't been able to reach her lately and feared the worst. Although sticken with cancer the last few years she was a gutsy lady that never gave up her positive attitude and never let others fuss over her.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Michelle's passing. Our sincerest condolences are extended to her family. I met Michelle while working at the Canadian Cancer Society Transportation office. We looked forward to her frequent visits and enjoyed the many treats she would bring to the office. She always had a positive attitude and we shared many, many laughs in the office with her. Not only did she use the driver program, she often volunteered in the office to help out with various tasks. Her words to us were always 'send me home at the end of the day' so she could finish whatever task she was working on in between her appointments. She will be deeply missed.

What a wonderful person she was. Never complained about anything, just a person full of life and she enjoyed sharing her wonderful disposition with all who knew her. May you rest in peace my friend.

Michelle used to babysit me when I was a baby. This is when I was living in Somerset and she was in Notre dame de Lourdes. Our birthdays are 2 days apart. She is on April 3rd and I on April 5th. I will miss her. Especially for playing cards.
