Sharon and family, Marjorie and family , Phyllis and family. We will remember Murray as the boy from the city coming to the farm for visits. We , as cousins, would perform many pranks on him. He often reminissed with us about them. We will also remember his hospitality the time a few years back when Myrna and I stopped off in Winnipeg. Murray drove us around town to see the highlights and went out to dinner. We also visited with him at the Shawville Fair when he came out here. He always had a joke to tell and we had a lot of laughs .Please accept our sincere condolences. Gordon and Myrna Palmer , Shawville Quebec.

To all Smith family members and friends,I was saddened to hear of Murray's passing, we were childhood/teenage friends in our home-town of Campbell's Bay, Quebec. We went sled riding, climbed trees, scraped knees, played in the mud and rode bikes, went to the annual Shawville fair together, later drove tractors for local farmers, and a lot of other activities too numerous to mention. One thing that stands out, his Dad let him drive the family car long before he had a licence, his friends were at awe at this great achievement. Later when he joined the Navy, we could not wait for his home visits to hear of his world travels at sea. In later years I got to see him on occasional visits to Campbell's Bay and catch up on his whereabouts. I will always remember his wonderful wit and unique sense of humour, and think about the many happy times with him. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss, he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.John SheaOttawa, ON

I was so sorry to hear that Uncle Murray had passed. Murray was like a big brother to me when I was young, and I will always remember the great times we had together, and his great sense of humour. I wish I could have seen him more often in the later years. My thoughts are with you and family in your time of grief. With love.

Always, you will be part of me and I will forever feel your strength when I need it most. You're gone now, gone but not forgotten. I can't say this to your face, but I know you hear. I'll see you again, you never really left, I feel you walk beside me. When I'm lost and missing you like crazy, I tell myself I'm blessed to have had you in my life. I'll see you again....'

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Murray. I have known him my whole life and have so many wonderful memories of him. Right from as a child with him fixing my Barbies or me chatting his ear off and being his shadow. My memories of Murray carry right through to my adult life where I had the pleasure of enjoying a game of golf with him. He will always be a part of my memories of growing up and will never be forgotten. My heart and prayers go out to the family at this difficult time. With my sincerest regret I will not be able to attend the service. I live very far out of town and am unable to leave work to travel to Winnipeg.Once again I would like to send my condolences to the family. Murray will never be forgotten and will always have a place in my heart and my families heart.

Our family has so many wonderful memories of Murray. If anything needed fixing Murray could always find a way to figure it out and make it as good as new. He was always busy doing something. Murray's great sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew him. He is a cherished friend and will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to the family at this difficult time.
