NORBERT VICTOR SINGLE
Peacefully after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Norbert Single, on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 81 years. Norbert spent the last few years as a resident in an apartment in the Knights of Columbus building at 114 McGregor Street, in Winnipeg.
Left to mourn Norbert?s passing are brothers, Edwin, Ernie (Eileen), and Erwin (Eleanor); sisters, Beatrice (Norman), and Lorraine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Wilhelm and Eva Single; sisters Florence (Bill Sellers, brother-in-law), Edna (Alvin Kornelson, brother-in-law) and brother-in-law, Herb Schmidt.
Norbert?s Funeral Service will be held in Wojcik?s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. Interment will follow in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
A special thank you to the Dialysis Team and nursing staff in Unit 1 and 5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for their dedication and special care they provided for Norbert during his stay.
