Their uncle Normand's family. Just a little note to let you know even if we are late and fare from you, we will always remember all the great souvenirs we had from our visit to you in Winnipeg and all the fun and love we always have from our family. Hope to find you all great. From Quebec, your cousin Martine (and mom Monique and sister Lorraine)

The fondest memories of my youth, are of those weekend visits with the Paradis clan. The closeness in age between the Vouk and Paridis kids, almost guaranteed a great connection, but there was that fantastic sense of fun and adventure...from assisting in building the house in charleswood, to the years of conquering the bush in behind (till the development caught up). And the feasting.... I remember times there must have been 40 or 50 of us.... the best of times. And my uncle Norm always patient and kind with all of us. Again I say, 'the best of times'... Enjoy your peace Uncle Norm, and condolences to those who remain, you will be missed.

Uncle Normand was always very interesting to talk to. He was always smiling and happy. When my dad was in the hospital he always looked forward to his big brother's visits. He always enjoyed his time with him. Aunt Irene, David, Brian and Sandra.... my thoughts are with you.Lynne Paradis

I remember Norm very well. I was about 19 when I first met him, I had just started working at Winnipeg Supply. He never treated me as a 'kid'. He was kind, funny and the best cribbage partner in the store. I enjoyed when we had our breaks together, we would clean up during the 'lightning rounds' of cribbage. (we could play 2 games in 15 minutes) He was always willing to talk, play or just listen. Even though I haven't worked seen Norm in over 15 years, I still think of him as one of the best things about Winnipeg Supply. Rest in peace my friend.
