PATRICIA (PAT) PELLETIER
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Patricia (Pat) Pelletier, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, has passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2025. Born on May 14, 1936, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Pat’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and dedication to family.
Pat is survived by her loving husband Marty Pelletier; sons Kelly (Paulette) Sullivan and Michael (Joanne) Sullivan; grandchildren Carmelle (Travis) de Koning, Michelle (Garvin) Pinette, Danielle Sullivan, Myles Sullivan and Daniel (Shalyn Falloon) Sullivan; and great grandchildren Ashton, Hunter, Dane, and Hazel- who all affectionately referred to her as “Nanny”. Pat’s memory will live on through her family, whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support.
Also grieving her loss is her brother Jim (Carmen) Dunn, and many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Gainor and Marjorie Lambert.
Pat spent most of her childhood in the Vancouver area enjoying time well spent with her extended family and appreciating the beauty of the mountains. She eventually started a family of her own and relocated to Winnipeg in the late 1960’s, soon after beginning her rewarding career with Kodak. Pat was well respected by her colleagues for her professionalism and dedication to a task at hand. In 1981, she married Marty, her life partner, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Much to Marty’s appreciation, Pat was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting frequent dinners.?Her dinner table was always welcoming, and she would personally ensure that no one left hungry. In 1990, Pat and Marty acquired a cottage in the Gimli area which became a focal point for family gatherings, bringing Pat a lot of joy throughout the years.
More so than any of her innumerable positive qualities, she lived all her years dedicated to her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre, and Grace Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, August 8 at 1:00 pm at the Anavets 283 (Army and Navy, 3584 Portage Ave).
Pat’s warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will be missed by all who have been touched by her presence. We are grateful as a family that she is now at peace.
