PATRICIA CAROL RATTAI
(nee DOXTATER)

Peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2015, Pat joined her soulmate Ron. She passed away at the Beausejour Health Centre at the age of 71 years.
Left behind are Pat and Ron’s children and grandchildren. Grandchildren held a very special place in Pat?s heart. She will be missed by Jon, Jeremy and Cyrus; Dylan, Jane and Eve; Brooklyn and London. He was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Mary Doxtater; siblings Donnie, Ronnie, Lee; and half-sister Virginia.
Pat was born in Ontario on October 29, 1943. That is where she met Ron, a young man alone in a bar. She invited him over for a drink with her and her friends.They clicked, and were together until Ron’s untimely passing in 2012.
Pat was a very private person. She was also fiercely loyal to those who were close to her. Pat was an avid bowler in her day, and she looked back on those days fondly. ?Duke?, as her brothers called her had many tales about her antics in her youth. Pat would light up when she talked about her younger days, all she asked was you listen to her tales.
This summer, the family plans on holding a celebration of Pat?s life.
Our family would like to thank Pat’s best friend Marge for spending so much time when her boys and their significant others (Ronnie and Leanne and Mike and Lisa) couldn’t during Mom’s final months.
Family would also like to express thanks to the staff at Beausejour Health Centre for their excellent care during Mom’s time in hospital.
