Peggy loved to laugh, to welcome visitors to her home, to share. She had one of the most beautiful voices I'd ever heard. She listened well and when she spoke she had great stories to tell--usually served up with a cup of fresh coffee at the kitchen table. My deep condolences to her children, Terrell, Tanis, Gary, and her extended family and close friends.

It was 55 years ago that I first met this 'beautiful woman' and her home became my second home, her daughters, my best friends. Years and times changed us all but one thing remained constant, Peggy's love for life and her positive influence on all who had the opportunity to know her. Thank you, Peggy it has been my pleasure to have known such a 'special' lady.

Knowing Peggy for the last 20 years feels like I have known her for years through her daughter and son-in-law, Terri & Grant-never heard anything but positive words and always thought of others before herself-she has passed her wonderful out look on life to her daughter and granddaughter-heaven's garden just received another rose

Since Peggy joined the Schwartz family some 40 years ago when she married our father Dr. Ben Schwartz, I have only known her to be buoyantly positive and full of good humour. She faced adversities in her life with grace and good fortune with gratitude. I always looked forward to seeing her and will miss her. My condolences to her family and friends.

It is with sadness that I have heard of Peg's passing. As folks have noted, her cheerful mood was the first thing she put on in the morning and she maintained that spirit throughout her day. Peg was a wonderful companion for my late father, Benjamin Schwartz, with whom she was married for the past forty years. May Peg be in our memories with warmth and affection.

Our semi to annual visits with Aunty Peg and Uncle Ben were always an uplifting experience. Aunty Peg could brighten anyone's day. She was a very special kind lady and we will miss her. She could relate to young and old alike and it was an honor to have known her.

It is with a heavy heart Jan 19 I miss the pillar of strength at the helm of my life..my dear mother. If there was anyone who embodied the selfless care and love and diplomacy of giving to others and to life with that wonderful edifying of others, with that "hellooo there!" it was my mother. For one who suffered greatly from loss, to rise about the daily woes was a standard for all to emulate. Mother made your day. And life itself was always better sharing a few moments in her sunshine. We miss her more than we could ever have known. May her sun shine gently upon us forever and may we all learn the lesson. Life, is all about "others people's happiness." And that is where we find ours. Thanks Mom. Love Gary
