Left to forever cherish Geordie’s memory is his devoted wife Diane; daughters Sharron (John), and Ellen (Craig); sons Jerry (Linda) and Chris (Dorothy). He will be missed by grandchildren Marianne, Jennifer (Niel), Megan, Kelly, Devin, Dean; and great-grandchildren Jackie, Clifford and Grace as well as his sister Alice Crawford (Bob); nephew Jack; and nieces Joy and Susan. Geordie was predeceased by his father John Nelson; mother Ellen Mary; and brother, Gerald. Born February 20, 1926, in Wolseley, SK, he spent most of his life in Winnipeg. Geordie loved his summers at the lake, hunting, winter vacations and his cat Smokey. Geordie was recently honoured after 50 years of fun and friendship with the Gyro Club. Cheerio old chap cheerio!
