RAMONA JANE JOHNSON

(nee Chambers-MacDonald)

September 28, 1930 – October 3, 2023

Mom lived a long and fulfilling life, passing away with Dementia at Oakview Place peacefully at the age of 93. Mom is survived by her children Brian (Suzie), Bev (Don), Heather, Ken (Jade), Greg (Laurie), Gail (Matt); sister Dolly; brothers Allan (Marion) and John. Predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, husband Gabriel and partner Gord.

Mom’s legacy will live on through the lives of her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

As we say our goodbyes, let’s remember Mom and Dad and how much they loved their time at Lester Beach, playing cards, Rummoli, and listening to her brother Allan playing his guitar around the bonfire, always serving her tasty snacks. Her Baking and cooking will never be forgotten, as her recipes could have been in her own cookbook.

Thank you to Amy and the 2^nd floor North Support Staff and Nurses for their care and patience.

Cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Mom, you will be forever in my heart and cherished in memory.  Love Gail

To our darling Grandma;

It feels like just yesterday when we met, you smiling at us as you held us for the first time. You were and will always be such a significant part of our lives as we know we were in yours.  Although we were only together for a brief time, we will remember you, your kindness, selflessness, and compassion for the rest of our lives.  We know you are smiling down at us and will be until we meet again.

We will love you for the rest of our lives and will miss you grandma.  Your grandchildren Joshua & Hailey
