RICHARD (GLEN) AMERAugust 11, 1942 – January 2, 2016Peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2016, Glen passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his family, at the age of 73.Leaving to cherish Glen’s memory are his wife Myra; sons Darryl, Patrick (Joanna); step-granddaughter Hailey and step great granddaughter Hannah. He is also survived by his brother Jon, and wife Lorraine and their children.Glen was born in Gimli, Manitoba and raised near Arnes, Manitoba. He moved to Winnipeg and went into the refrigeration and air conditioning field for over 40 years. He also owned and operated, along with his wife and sons, Northland Trailer Park.In keeping with Glen’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. He will be laid to rest at Arnes Cemetery, Arnes, Manitoba.The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for the care and compassion shown to Glen and his family.In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to a charity of your choice.
