RICHARD AUGUST ANDRIES
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard August Andries on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of eighty years. Richard is survived by his wife Joan; former wife Liz, their daughter Kim (Randy), grandchildren Casey and Wesley; his daughter Darlene (Randy) and granddaughter Elizabeth; brothers Fred (Gail) and Kenneth (Val); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Maurice, James, Thomas, Henry, and Colin. On June 5, 1937 Richard was born to parents Mary Ellen and August Klement Andries in the RM of Dauphin, Manitoba on the family homestead. He travelled and lived throughout Manitoba working with the Municipal Government; residing in Silver Falls, Manitoba and finally to Winnipeg where he set down roots and lived for the past thirty-seven years. An Interment and gathering will be held at a later date. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and support during this difficult time.
