Richie, was taken far too early. Whether it was at work or in his personal life Rich was always the first person to help anyone at any time. Rich was always the one to make everyone feel welcome, laughing, smiling and his smile would always light up the room. Anyone who knew Rich knew he was the life of the party and enjoyed his life to fullest. From College to Bombardier to Boeing, from Thunderbay to Winnipeg I will always treasure all the fun times I had with Rich. Our thoughts are with Tasha, Conrad and Lochlan at this most difficult time. Rich was a wonderful guy and our hearts grieve for your loss. We are all deeply saddened by Richie’s passing however I am extremely lucky to have known him and have him as a friend.

So saddened to hear the passing of Rich, what a super guy, that great smile from ear to ear, and his giggle. His Passion for the STEELER'S undeniable. He was one of the favourites when he worked with us in Methods. My heartfelt sympathy to all of his family. So sorry for your loss, way too young.

Richie was a man who always put others before himself, cared with deep love and compassion for his friends and family. I was truly blessed to be friends with him for 22 years, which had lead us basically to brotherhood. His infectious laugh, bright smile, and wit had set him apart from all, and was his signiture here on earth. Those who knew Rich, and were in his company have all felt the love and compassion from an incredible individual. Be it from his goofiness, dancing, singing, or all of his antics he was by far the life of the party. Words cannot describe the loss all feel with Rich's early departure, and our hearts go out to Tash, Lochlan, Conrad, Fred, Kay, Pam and other surviving family and friends. I know he loved and cared for all, please take solace in knowing that, and keep his memory near. The last words Rich had said to me before his passing were,'Don't worry brother, I am going to be o.k', those words will forever stay with me. I never said good-bye to him, as good-bye is forever, and I know that our paths will cross again. Like OZZY said in his song brother, 'See you on the other side',and I will see you again my dear friend. Safe Journey my Brother !! You will never be forgotten. Gord, Robbin, Caitlyn.

I was lucky enough to meet him through my neighbors, and immediately took a liking to him. It was difficult not to, when he seems to make a point of always connecting with everyone present, smiling and laughing his gravelly laugh. He made me feel included right away, and I thank him for that. My thoughts and prayers are with Rich's family and his great many friends.

Although I'd not seen Rich much over a number of years, I regularly contemplate the laughs and good times a group of young men would have together. Rich always was the source of a lot of laughs and always had his arms open to accept others into the group. One of the friendliest people I've ever met, and he enriched the lives of everyone around him!All the best to his family and to those who were a part of his life.

My deepest condolences to Rich's family. Rich was one of those guys that everyone loved. He smile and laugh were infectious and if you were having a rough day hanging out with him would make that disappear. It is hard to describe how grateful I feel to be able to call him my friend.

Rich was a great friend for almost 35 years. More like a brother growing up. Over the years, as part of the 'Fantastic Four' we had many, many good times together. I'm so glad I got to speak to him a few weeks ago to tell him personally that he was a great dad, a great husband and a great friend and he should take solace in that. You will be greatly missed, Richie. My deepest sympathy to your family at this difficult time.
