ROBERT LAFORGE
September 13, 1939 ? September 6, 2015

After a seven month battle with heart failure, Bob passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Grace Hospital, at the age of 75 years.
Left to mourn Bob are his wife, Marion; his brother Marc (Ottawa); sisters and brothers-in-law; as well as nieces and nephews.
Bob retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1985 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a graduate of the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario in Aerospace and Chemical Engineering.
Bob and Marion enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the world over the past 30 years, their time spent at their cottage on Poplar Bay and his award winning flower beds and gardens. He enjoyed stamp collecting, cooking, golfing, animals, boating, fishing off of his dock and reading. Bob was a founding member of the Winnipeg Art Gallery and was an avid collector of art and antiques throughout his life.
Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Marion, and his family and friends.
A Celebration of Bob?s Life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Rae and Jerry?s Steakhouse, 1405 Portage Avenue.
