Uncle Ron, You came into our family with such love and caring for all of Aunt Connie family. You and She were great companions to my Mom Nettie and Step-Dad Don for so many years. Especially the camping trips. I have lots of pictures of these times. My Mom is the one left with all these good memories. My belief is that you are up there in that better place with Aunt Connie and Don with no more pain. I love you and will always hold a special place in my heart for you... God Bless You

I will miss Ron at our family get togethers and visits over the years since my son, daughter and I became part of the family. I will always cherish my memories of Connie and Ron and the fun we had together in the Crows Nest Pass and West St. Paul. I will also miss not making him apple pies for our family special occasions. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him and our conversations.

Amber, I am so very sorry for your loss. The stories you shared of his final days and the memories your family was able to build this holiday touched my heart. I am so confident that your grandfather passed with such comfort and peace surrounded by his beautiful family and felt very loved. Praying for comfort in this difficult time.

Poppa Ron was a wonderful man. Him & Gramma Connie started caring for our children Darby & Eric when Darby was 2 years old & took exceptional care of her for 10 years. To the point that she didn't want to come home at the end of the day. He had great patience with Eric & taught him alot. His passing is hard on us, as we miss him dearly, but, it has been especially hard on Darby, as he was her 'POPPA' & the only one she remembers well growing up. Our sympathies go out to his family & please know we are weeping with you from here in AB.
