RONALD (RON) LARRY RATTAI Peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2012 Ron Rattai passed away at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB at the age of 68 years. Left to cherish Ron’s memory are his wife Pat, of 46 years of marriage; children Deb (Dale), Ronnie Jr. (Leanne), Crissy (Chris), Mike (Lisa); grandchildren Jon (Tish), Jeremy, Cyrus, Trina, Jordan, Dylan, Janie, Eve, Brooklyn; as well as siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond, and parents Edward and Lenora. Ron was born and lived in the Green Bay area. He was a kind, caring man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to his children, grandchildren and friends. He was a sociable person, had a gregarious sense of humour, always looking to visit and laugh with those around him. Ron’s greatest joy was his family and he was a devoted and loving grandfather. He was an avid hunter and he loved the outdoors and his garden. A small memorial gathering with immediate family has taken place at the farm. The family would like to express a warm thank you to the nursing staff and Dr. Zeiler at the Beausejour Hospital, and special thanks to his devoted sisters, Alice for her wonderful visit this summer and Sandra, who spent much time in the last few months caring for Ron. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory can be made to the Power Wheelchair Hockey Association care of The Society for Manitobans with Disabilities.
