We were shocked and saddened to hear of Ruth's passing. As neighbours, Ruth and Reid were irreplaceable and we were so lucky to call you our friends. Ruth and Reid helped us in too many ways to mention. We feel heartbroken for the entire Waters family on your loss. Linda and Fil Zimerman

Just heard of the very sad passing of one of the loveliest women that Ive ever known. Ruth was very special and her personality resonated with all those with whom she came in contact. Ruth and Reid were a real team and I know she will be missed by her fine family and the community that she profoundly influenced. When The news of her passing came to my attention I was able to tell Anita and Don Wood, also dear friends, as I saw them yesterday in Toronto. It was in many ways apt, as we were able to talk about our fun times when we were together in Winnipeg, and remembering these moments helped us with our grief. We are all thinking of you Reid and your enormous loss. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Beverly and Jack McJannet.
