I met Fran many years ago when I joined the curling league at Deer Lodge. She immediately stood out because of her great sense of humor and her love of curling! I was fortunate enough to be on her team several times and appreciated her excellent shot-making and strategies! How I will miss that smiling face and ready laugh...it won't be the same without you Frannie...RIP Kathy

How shocked and saddened we were to hear of Fran's sudden passing. We learned of it only today, having just returned from B.C. We will miss her greatly and times at the cottage just won't be the same without her cheery welcomes and watching her enjoy her cottage and yard. Our deepest condolences go to her family at this saddest of times.

I did not see my aunt enough but when I did laughter, smiles and often dancing was involved. She was one of the 'outlaws' my mom would say with the deepest affection . A bright light has been lost. My deepest sympathies to her children.

Our deepest condolesences & thoughts go to all the family. We knew Fran & her kids from the great days at the Transcona Indoor Swimming Pool where a lot of us worked. We were all part of a work family & shared family stories & enjoyed watching everyone's kids grow up & become very good swimmers ! We are sharing happy thoughts along with tears of sadness at the same time. We envied Fran's energy, youthfullness & love of life !Fran was very special & will be remembered by us, for her infectious smile ! Our thoughts & prayers to all the family. Braden & Kathy Fast Elbow, Sask. formerly of Transcona,Man.

I have curled with Fran for several years and she adapted to new ways of playing the game. She became a wicked stick thrower! I have her curling gear and will have it available for you at the service. Fran will be greatly missed by our team. Karen
